An Effective Deterrent ~
We demand our Retail Security Officers are more than just a front of house presence. Identification of crime hot spots, risk assessments, effective deterrent methods and knowledge of loss prevention are all integral elements of our Security Officers' training.
We judge all our Officers (and Expect our Clients to do Likewise) by Asking:
- Is the Officer proactive in terms of loss prevention?
- Is the Officer aware of store losses, and does he/she assist in reducing them?
- Are Security Officers adding value in tackling till losses?
- Is the Security Officer an overt deterrent to potential thieves?
- Does the Officer communicate effectively with store management?
- Is the Officer a valuable member of the store team?
- Has the Officer raised security awareness in their store?
