Elite Security has spent 15 years and in excess of £1.5 million developing the most sophisticated communications centre and extranet system of any Security Company.
At the hub is a National Control and Communications Centre, which co-ordinates Elite Security’s Corporate and Retail Security Operations. It is staffed 24 hours-a-day providing the vital link between officers and clients sites, mobile patrol units and the security management teams.
100% of check-calls from security officers are answered by a computerized system, with caller line verification to confirm that officers are calling from an on site phone. Logging on records appear on a large screen in the control room and alerts controllers to deal with any gaps in cover by calling up the list of local stand-by officers, ranked according to their distance from the site involved Check-call monitoring also ensures that officers are on site and through out the night.
All roster, check calls and site information is stored in the central data server in Birmingham Head Office, which can be accessed from any computer by authorized users via Elite Security’s secure extranet facility. This gives client Security Managers real time access to the Elite Security system from their own computer, allowing them to check that all duties have been covered and check calls made.
They can use the system to request extra manpower, view invoices and monitor any aspect of our service. Our officers can even go on line from home or work, if permitted, to check their rosters and holiday dates and check the calculation of their pay packet.
Clients can automatically receive customized reports via e-mail, listing exceptions and summarizing the data collected on their sites. In the future, Elite Security’s Service Level Agreements will be implemented over the extranet. Elite Security’s Directors can monitor Customer Service Manager visits and other aspects of performance on a large ‘dashboard’ screen in their office, keeping them directly in touch with every site in the UK.
This system dovetails with rostering systems, which is used to plan officers duties in advance and allocate spare manpower efficiently. This System also generates accurate pay-slips for each officer and detailed invoices for clients, enabling Elite Security to dramatically reduce the level of pay-roll problems and invoicing queries.
